To request your consultation, you can email me directly at kbplaytherapy@gmail.com or complete the online contact form below. I will review your request and get back to you within 2 to 4 business days.
Intake Session
If you decide to work with me after our consultation, I will schedule our formal Intake Session.
We meet for a parent-only session to explore your specific worries, child's history, and hopes. We will also complete the necessary paperwork and formulate the therapy goals.
Pricing & Insurance
Fees & Credentials
Individual therapy sessions are $150 per 50-minute session, inclusive of all applicable taxes. All sessions are provided by a Registered Social Worker certified by the British Columbia College of Social Workers (BCCSW).
Insurance & Reimbursement
I do not offer direct billing to insurance providers at this time. However, many extended health care plans provide coverage for counseling services delivered by a Registered Social Worker.
Because coverage varies significantly between individual plans, please contact your extended health provider directly prior to your first session to confirm that your specific plan covers the counseling services provided by Registered Social Worker.
Payment Process
Payment is due at the end of each session. I accept payment via credit card, cash, or e-transfer.Once your payment is completed, a formal receipt will be issued and sent to you via email. You can then submit this receipt directly to your extended health provider to claim your reimbursement.
Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
Your appointment time is reserved exclusively for your family. If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please send an email to kbplaytherapy@gmail.com at least 48 hours in advance.
Appointments canceled or rescheduled with less than 48 hours' notice, as well as missed appointments, will be charged the full session fee.
